Cotton Dust Mop Wedge Kit

Great mop...probably made for industrial uses but fits the bill for a house with all hardwood floors and two shedding dogs. The mop head pivots, enabling you to get into all crevices and corners. Highly recommended.

I live in a rural area on a frequently traveled dirt road. I have 1600 square feet of hardwood floor, a wood stove that creates a lot of ash dust, and a German Shepherd that sheds like crazy. We'd drown in dog hair and dust if I didn't sweep a couple times a day. I've gon through three mops at half this price but the plastic frames don't last. Also this mop has a MUCH better mop head. The cheaper heads don't have any mop strings in the center of the head just plastic. They're so light you have to press down on them to even feel any resistance at all.

I have hardwood floors and two sheddy dogs. If I don't sweep or vacuum at least every other day the dog hair collects in little puffs in all the corners and around the legs of all the furniture and migrates up my velour IKEA curtains. I've been looking for a mop like the one my elderly neighbor has had for decades (she's a cat lady) - a simple stick with a smallish roundish blob of cotton fibers on the end of it. The mops in stores are rectangular or microfiber or nylon bristly-brushes and not suitable for nimbly swishing around the house 5 minutes before company comes. I bought this mop because of the heavy-duty metal telescoping handle. I use it on the ceiling, crown-moulding, cornices, lintels, window sills, light fixtures, walls, baseboards and floors.

I was so glad to find a "real" mop like they used to make 50 years ago. This is the real deal. We have glossy hardwood floors and this mop works great for daily cleaning. We live in a real dusty desert area, and the floors get covered with dust and fine sand every day.
